rescues are placed therefore we do not adopt
more than a 1 hour drive from Pittsburgh.
Adoption donations include everything you will need
for your new addition i.e. bed,
dishes, harness/collar, leash, food, treats, toys,
veterinary and adoption records and current rabies
tag. Adoption donations vary depending on the age
of the dog/pup and the veterinary care they
required.
Please be patient as our rescue receives 100 to 300 emails a day and up to 40 applications a week so it may take us a few days to get back to you.
Take Us Home For Christmas
Jumby and Baby dog have become extremely close and do everything together. We do not feel seperating these two little ones would be good for them so we are looking for a home for the two of them together.
Baby Dog was born 12-11-08 Jumby was born 6-1-09 Jumby weighs 6 pounds Baby Dog weighs 7 pounds. Jumby has a parti colored coat and Baby dog has a cream sable coat.
Both dogs have been spayed/neutered and all vaccinations are current. They are both on flea and heartworm preventatives as well. This little duo will come with everything they need including their crate and 6 months of flea heartworm preventatives. Both are potty pad and outdoor trained.
We have some special news concerning Jumby!
Jumby along with two of our other rescues will appear in the 2010 Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. It will air Super Bowl Sunday February 7th.
Lila's Story

*~*Lila is expecting puppies in November*~*
Lila is a sweet 4 year old Pomeranian she weighs 7 pounds. She is missing her front right foot and part of the front leg and her back left foot and most of her tail. It does make it difficult for her to get around but she does manage to hobble about. We were told her mother chewed them off in the puppy mill. Lila is a shy, quiet girl with beautiful big dark eyes. When Lila was in the Puppy Mill I assume she didn't have much of a need for four legs because all she did was lay in a crate and have babies but now that she has been rescued and is living like a dog should I can't think of a greater gift than to help Lila be able to walk around without pain like a normal dog.
*****We are excited to announce that Lila is getting prosthetic legs from Ortho Pets!!! Please won't you consider a small donation to help us help Lila.
Lila did good her 5 pups were born Monday November 30th two black males, three females, one sable and two cream. Lila and pups are healthy and doing well.
