2010 Puppy Bowl News

We are so proud to announce that three of our darling rescues Jumby, Addison, and Sir Winston were chosen from Petfinder to be players in Animal Planets Puppy Bowl VI on Super Bowl Sunday! Puppy Bowl VI will air on Animal Planet February 7th 2010

We went to the filming in Silver Spring, MD at Discovery Studios last weekend and had a great time. Sir Winston as well as Addison and Jumby were a huge hit! All three dogs were also chosen for a special segment called "In The Locker Room" The staff and crew at Discovery Studios and everyone involved were wonderful !!! We were treated like royalty there and so were our dogs!

We met some really nice people and made new friends with many other rescue people across the country not to mention how much fun it was seeing all the different breeds play together.

We are so thankful to have been part of this wonderful experience!

Winston has been adopted

Our darling Winston has been adopted to a wondeful couple in Mars, PA. We know he will be greatly loved, spoiled and want for nothing. Saying goodbye to Winston was bittersweet. I will surely miss that little guy! Addison is already missing him as well. I wish his adopters many years of happiness with Sir Winston he is one special dog!

Addison and Ophelia have both been adopted

Addison went to her new home last Thursday and Ophelia went to her new home on Sunday.

Addison joined a wonderful loving family in McKeesport, PA she also has a darling furry sister named Chanel that she gets along wonderfully with I know they will have countless hours of fun together.

Ophelia went to one of our previous adopters and I could not have asked for a more wonderful or caring home for sweet little Ophelia to go to to live out her senior years.

Lilly and Dolce have been adopted

Dolce and Lilly have found their forever homes with previous Pom Haven Rescue adopters. I wish them lots of happy years with their new families!

Lila is expecting pups

Lila update 11-20-09

Not only is this poor girl missing two feet but she is also expecting puppies. By the grace of God we got this poor girl out of the puppy mill in time.

We had no idea she was pregnant at the time we picked her up so we followed normal procedure and had her vaccinated we are praying the vaccinations did not harm the puppies. Due to her size and her milk already being in we believe they are due any day now.

New Puppy Mill Babies

Pom Haven has three new mill rescues from the same Missouri puppy mill that Winston, Addison and Lila came from. Although all of these dogs have some type of disability they still make the same loving, loyal pets as a dog without disabilities. Please open your heart and your home to one of these beautiful babies.
